My first career job brought me to Tuscaloosa after graduating from Auburn University in 1972. I was employed by the University of Alabama in 1976 where I worked as a construction estimator for remodeling projects. I retired from the University of Alabama in 2004.
I had volunteered at several events during the early days of WAAO. Upon retiring I began volunteering two days a week. My work at WAAO ranges from routine building maintenance, stocking the food and hygiene closets, general office work and staffing the WAAO booth at local health fairs. I enjoy the people and the work I do at WAAO. WAAO has a great group of employees.
